We Are All Interconnected
The theme chosen by the Midwinter Retreat Committee for 2026 is "We Are All Interconnected." This theme draws inspiration from our Seventh Principle: Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.
Land Acknowledgment
We reside on the Dish with One Spoon Territory. We recognize and honour the traditional territory of the Anishinaabeg, Haudenosaunee, Lunaapeewak, Chippewas of the Thames First Nation, Oneida Nation of the Thames, as well as the Métis and Inuit Peoples who continue to live on this land today. We acknowledge the longstanding relationships Indigenous Peoples have with the land and view this acknowledgment as a small but meaningful first step in the journey of reconciliation and building respectful relationships. Our gratitude extends deeply to the Indigenous Peoples who have cared for the land for generations. We strive to protect and honour the land and waters to which We are All Interconnected.
