Art Market, Saturday February 7, 7-930pm in Summit building
On Saturday Night in Summit we will be hosting a Cabaret from 730-9pm showing off the talent we each have – musical interlude, poem, skit, song, or story.
Some of us bring other gifts - the ability to make tangible things.
If you have this gift and wish to share it please book a table and bring your made* talents.
*It can be Art, baking, books, buttons, ceramics, chapbooks, crafts, cards, carving, collages, embroidery, fibre arts, jewelry, knitting, mixed media, music, paintings, poetry, prints, quilts, sculpture, silk-screened shirts, stained glass, stickers, tapestries, textiles, wood work, zines- or something else, please let us know what we are missing!
For planning purposes WE would like to know:
Do you need a full table 2’ x6’?
Can you share a table?
What will you be selling?
Can we have a picture of your items to help promote sales prior to the event for our website?
We would like YOU to know :
Please bring: a tablecloth to hide clutter, change for cash transactions, a sign with your email or methods of payment, if you have a square reader bring it, there is good wifi connectivity.
Set up -anytime between 5-7pm
Take down -anytime sales seem to stop around 930pm.
All sales must happen through you, you must sit at your table; the Midwinter retreat committee and Cedar Glen take no responsibility for sales, or items lost or stolen.
The work should be in line with and hopefully reflect in some way our 8 UU principles and be in keeping with our values. Please bring work you made vs work made by manufacturers or by others not present.
The cost per table is $20. We ask for this to help pay for our advertising. If you wish to donate an item for a raffle prize as well or instead of the table fee that would be most appreciated. We run on a zero profit and any extra money that is made is used to help those who may not be able to pay the full cost of the weekend and to help with the management of the planning for the next year’s retreat.
